Lens mount case lets you use DSLR lenses with your iPhone 4

Lens mount case lets you use DSLR lenses with your iPhone 4 The iPhone 4 takes pretty spectacular pictures straight out of the box, but there are several accessories you can buy to improve (or at least enhance) your photographic explorations. There's the Olloclip, which lets you take wide-angle, fisheye, or macro photographs, and the Dot, which lets you take 360-degree video. Now there's also the iPhone SLR Mount, which allows you to use full-size SLR lenses with your iPhone.

Of course, one of the biggest benefits of the iPhone camera is its conveniently small size, and attaching a large SLR lens to it pretty solidly negates that benefit. It also looks rather ridiculous. However, it gives you many of the benefits of SLR lenses, including manual depth of field and focus control, telephoto, wide-angle, and macro capabilities.

At a hefty $190, the SLR lens mount isn't exactly an impulse buy. But if you're willing to pony up the cash for the chance to use your SLR lenses with your iPhone, it might be worth checking out. The mount is available for both Canon and Nikon lenses, and even has loopholes so you can attach a camera strap.
