Book Review part 1 of 4: Create Great iPhone Photos by Allan Hoffman

Allan Hoffman is a tech writer, blogger and iPhoneographer, and this is very apparent as you read through Allan's new iPhoneography book "Create Great iPhone Photos".

The book is easy to read, and well structure, with chapter 1 covering the evolution of the iPhone camera, from the original 1st generation through to the current iPhone 4, the Photo Album/Camera Roll, including Places, Faces and Events, as well as how to transfer your photos between your iPhone and computer.

Chapters 2 through to 6 covers covers a wide range of photo editing apps, from those that give you that photoshop experience in your pocket, to quick fix, retro and fun apps. Allan covers all the apps in his book with detailed usage guides and tips, helping you get the best out of your iPhone and the many apps he covers.

In chapter 7, Allan talks about how to share your photos through Flickr and social networks like Facebook and Twitter, whilst chapter 8 guides you through sharing them via photoblogs.

In the final chapter [chapter 9], Allan looks at some of the iPhoneographers that have inspired him, like Stephanie Chappe, Tony Cece and MissPixels to name just a few, along with useful resources like "the iPhoneography blog".

Currently priced at $18.70 on Amazon.com or £15.67 on Amazon.co.uk, this is a great book, written by someone who is passionate about this new form of photographic expression, and would make a great read for anyone new to the world of iPhoneography.
