Basic Adjustments

Tap an area in your photo that you want to enhance and swipe your finger up or down to choose Brightness, Contrast, or Saturation. Then, adjust by swiping your finger left or right. - Tune Image: Please your crowd. No two photos will ever look alike once you’ve used the Tune Image filter in Snapseed. I really like silver efex pro, so I picked this up right away. Although I was hoping for more options with the b&w, the interface is smooth and incredibly intuitive. Love it.Gregory

I would like to see this on the iPhone, then see how Nik & Tiffen compare on the iPhone.
Without being mobile, this app will be limited & the iPad is not considered mobile.The app looks great & thus the need for an iPhone version!

It doesn't have anything more than PhotoForge2, Filterstorm Pro or other editing apps. I was hoping for a bit more from nik. I do like the interface and hopefully they will add more features to be on par with other editing apps. It's a bit pricey for so little in the way of editing features. I too, an hoping for a stronger B&W option as I love silver efex. Would love to filter and tritone.June 9, 2011 |Suzé
Agreed, needs iPhone version. Lots of iPhone users, including myself, don't have iPads. Iphoenograpy means iPhone, the strongest contender in mobile photography at the moment.June 9, 2011 |Mar

I truly love the interface but I agree the app needs a iPhone version too.Yet, a pity Nik does not give an answer to the many questions on this on Twitter.

Hi everyone,Thanks for discussing Snapseed for iPad. We're definitely hearing the requests loud and clear for an iPhone version of the app as well as some of the new features suggested above. Believe me, the wishlist database is long and interesting. That said, I'm not at liberty to reveal future products or the feature roadmaps for Snapseed but as I said we're getting some incredible feedback from all over the world. I think you'll continue to see some pretty amazing iterations on Snapseed. Stay tuned!
Question: I was a little surprised that there weren't any comments about the Selective Adjust feature - have you all tried that yet? Kevin

Responding to Kevin's request above- My first ipad photo app is smooth, fast, powerful and very easy to use. You guys did a great job, keep at it! The Selective Adjust feature is very familiar, easy to understand and to set. The first thing come to mind is- for example- I sort of lost track of all the points I've added, an option to have the selective circle ON constantly (instead of tapping the blue dot once but only disappear after one second) would greatly help to visualize where and how big I am applying the adjustments.Another thing that I find inconsistant is it takes one tap of the blue dot in Selective Adjust to bring out the effect circle, but I have to do a pinch or pull to bring out the circle in Center Focus.
There is no vignette ONLY control (right)?
In Organic Frames, can there be a selection of having a simple, clean, no frills frame? Currently it requires us to cycle through countless random combinations before landing a simple white frame.
I find the bw filters really good and produces good results. I love the vintage filters as well! All in all, the filters are plenty good for what I am looking for. Can I request those trendy bleach bypass cross process filter, haha. Anyway, I am enjoying this app.
One question: are we able to edit images from a DSLR? What is the biggest resolution Snapseed can handl?
